The woman is the Nation of Israel: The 12 tribes of Israel. The House of Judah and the House of Israel thus together making up the Nation of Israel. The Red dragon is Jacob's brother Esau. He came out Red and hairy like a garment; they called him Esau because he was Red. The 12 tribes are Jacob and the dragon is his brother.
