Did anyone go on to have a natural birth with none or minimal tearing after a 3rd or 4th degree episiotomy?

I gave birth 8 years ago and suffered a 4th degree episiotomy.Now Im due in 3 weeks and although they are offering me a C-section as an option to prevent tearing again,I am dead set on having a natural childbirth.I was reading online that I can risk having a fistula or tear badly again. So I am a little nervous to make a descion.I contribute my tearing to a pushy doctor and me being 18, young and not knowing how to properly push ( I didn't know I was supposed to push as if I was having a bowel movement I was pushing like I had to pee) I know that sound so dumb, but I had no idea and the nurse was really nasty and pushy about getting the pushing done with.So now after feeling ready to do it again the right way, I feel hopefully there is hope and want to know how it was for women who have had a previous 3rd or 4th degree tear and went on to have a smooth 2nd birth.Please share your story!- Thanks
