Filming laws in a hospital?

There is no law that gives you the right to film in a hospital. Hospitals are free to set policies as they see fit, so long as their policies are in compliance with state and federal regulations. And given the heavy amount of privacy regulations that hospitals have to comply with, I have no doubt that hospitals were forced into making policies that lean toward banning anything that could compromise privacy.
