SCHOOL BROCHURE CRISIS! HELP!!!!?

Ok so my teacher showed my class this brochure that someone in another class did. It looked really fancy...like it had colored columns and like really cool swirly things under her name, and stuff. I want to beat her really bad. So, if anyone knows anything that could look really cool on my brochure please help! My brochure is in landscape on microsoft word 2007 an dit is on Oprah Winfrey. Anything will help. Thanks.
