What bakery/pastry course or program would you recommend?

i really want to do a bakery/pastry course or program.and i heard the one in DIT Dublin ireland is mostly theory and i don't like that. :( and i would love it to be not the dear either.. or i would love to get an apprenticeship in a bakery.
