What should I do about this "boil"?

5 days ago I noticed a bump on my panty line that was painful to the touch, since then it has got more painful and bigger. On my own research I self diagnosed it as a "boil", and it is my first. This morning I woke up and it was draining fluid and blood, so I cleaned it and put polysporin and gauze on it. Im just wondering how long its going to take to heal, and what I should be doing with it, putting on it, and not putting on it. Im 37 weeks pregnant and would like it gone before I deliver, as it would obviously only add to the discomfort and pain of childbirth. Thank You!
