Why are Liberals for illegal immigrants?

I just think it is stupid they can live here tax free without even filling out any paperwork. We don't check any of there background. They don't pay taxes but they get social benefits school ect. I think it is unfair to the rest of us. So why are liberals for illegals other then they want them to be legal to get there vote.
