Is it normal for man to begin Premature ejaculation after childbirth?

I had a C-section 8 months ago and ever since he has been unable to last over 10 minutes. This was not a problem before hand and he says he is working on it but it is not getting any better. To make matter worse I don’t get that same spark when we have sex/ kiss/ make love. Is it me or is it him?
