Is life generally harder for men than it is for women?

Yes, generally speaking men have more expectations of the world placed on them than women do. Some may say that is false, because women announce what they do on a regular basis. Expectations of men are done without acknowledgement. "Yes, you cleaned the house, but last summer when that burglar broke in, I put my life on the line to protect you and the house". Not to belittle what women do, because they do a lot, but if I say something about the things you do, I become controling. But if I fall short of your expectations this makes me less of a man.
